Eastbound and Westbound through traffic at the intersection of Ocala Avenue and Capitol Expressway will be restricted, with detours in place. Lanes will remain open in the North and Southbound directions. Crews require a full road closure at night to complete this work safely, with minimal impacts to traffic.
Crews will be completing a Class 1 finish to the concrete structure over the intersection, providing a better, smoother look to the Superstructure.
Adjacent community members may hear construction noises, including voices, hammering, items dropping/clanging, and backup alarms from heavy equipment. Residents may also see lights necessary to illuminate the worksite.
